When the old sofa arrived it was in a poor state and required some remedial work before re-upholstering.

Once the work was completed it was time to re-upholster the sofa using the fabrics chosen by the customer.

The sofa has been re-upholstered with 100% Scottish wool fabric and the scatter cushions have been filled with duck feathers.

Vintage 1960's Club Seat Re-upholstered with 100% Scottish Wool

The re-upholstered chair came to us in a very poor state along with its twin and a sofa. The old chair dates back to around the 1960's although calling it a "club chair" is not entirely true.

Although its very similar to a "club chair" in design, a club chair usually has more rounded arms. However, the old chairs and sofa, no re-upholstered are looking simply divine especially if you like Scottish fabrics.

Once the old chairs and sofa were fully restored we then made up some scatter cushions to go with them. The scatter cushions are duck filled and finished with various materials to add contrast to the furniture.
